It's no secret the Oura Ring is my favorite wearable on the market. While I've sported a smartwatch here and there, I always circle back to Oura -- the screen-free smart ring is genuinely focused on wellbeing, not notifications. Plus, it's stylish enough to earn compliments from my friends who have no idea it's a piece of tech. No screens, but all the smarts and style.

Massive Black Friday discounts

Up to $150 off the Titanium line

First things first, it's no secret that a smart ring is expensive. If you primarily wear gold jewelry, you're looking at a hefty $499 price tag attached to the Oura Ring 4 in that style. But right now, the company's Black Friday promotion is one of the best I've ever seen. Oura has slashed $150 off its Titanium-finished Gen-4 wearables, taking them down to a much more affordable $349.

It's a 30% reduction -- rare for any wearable, let alone the hottest premium smart ring on the market. Promotions any other time of year aren't common or nearly as generous, so if you want to buy an Oura Ring 4 for yourself (or someone else), this is likely the only time you'll see a discount.

It's HSA/FSA eligible

Use it before you lose it

Depending on how you interpret the math, you could even get the Oura Ring 4 for "free." Many people don't realize that an Oura Ring qualifies as a medical expense through Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts. What does that mean? It lets you use pre-taxed dollars to pay for purchases that qualify for your health and wellbeing.

So why does that mean you should buy the Oura Ring right now? While HSA funds roll over year after year, FSA funds typically don't. While some employers offer rollover options, FSA funds usually fall under the 'use it or lose it' umbrella. So, it's literally money down the drain if you don't use them to buy something -- why not get a health tracker that doubles as a fashion piece?

According to Oura's website, you can use your HSA or FSA account to pay for an Oura Ring. You can also submit a receipt for reimbursement through your particular program.

Under US federal law, you can only purchase an Oura Ring for the account holder or eligible dependents. You cannot use HSA or FSA funds to buy an Oura Ring for someone else.

New Year's is coming

Time to apply data to your resolutions

2026 is quickly approaching, and 79% of Americans typically make New Year's resolutions that include improving their health in some capacity. When you have a plan -- and a way to measure your progress -- it becomes infinitely easier to stay on track with your health goals. Without one... well, maybe that's why only 9% of Americans stick to their resolutions throughout the year.

If improving your health is part of your 2026 to-do list, this is the time to invest in a distraction-free wearable that will hold you accountable while also motivating you along the way. The best part about the Oura Ring is the hyper-personalized data it collects for you. It puts a complete picture of your health directly into your hands and allows you to take control of your wellbeing with actionable suggestions. My favorite metrics that the Oura Ring helps me understand about my health revolve around sleep and stress, which are almost always a part of my New Year's resolutions.

Oura also just introduced Health Panels, a blood test through Quest Diagnostics that measures 50 different biomarkers and conveniently gives you personalized context about the data collected. It's one of the most interesting offerings I've ever seen from a wearable company, and it gives you even more power to change the picture of your health for the better.

Health Panels cost an additional $99.
