What was your first phone?
I purchased my first phone, the Nokia 6630, in my junior year of college. It was Nokia's first 3G smartphone. After three or four years, I switched to the first iPhone, complete with its minuscule 3.5-inch display and 2-megapixel camera that completely transformed the way I communicated with the world.
When did your interest in technology begin?
My interest in technology began with the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis, playing all the classics like F-Zero, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Streets of Rage. From there, I moved on to the Nintendo 64, which led to countless nights playing wrestling titles like WCW vs. nWo: World Tour and WCW/NWO Revenge deep into the wee hours of the morning.
What tech products or categories are you most passionate about?
The tech products and categories that I'm most interested in are smartphones and smart home technology. Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and an endless number of smart devices like the Echo Hub, Nest Cam, and Ecobee have completely transformed the way we interact with technology. Generally, the greater the impact the technology has, the more interest I have in it.
