About Steve Vegvari

Steve Vegvari is a features author, specializing in gaming, smart home devices, and the Apple ecosystem. With a career spanning over 10 years in the industry, he's written about the latest Apple devices, biggest game launches, and some of the most bizarre tech products.

Steve's bylines span multiple outlets, including iPhone in Canada, MobileSyrup and Console Creatures (where he hosts the weekly Creature Cast podcast).

What was your first phone?

Sony W200 Walkman phone. High school was never the same again after getting the ability to download songs to my phone. 128MB of storage seems so quaint these days.

When did your interest in technology begin?

Ever since I picked up a Game Boy as a child. Whether it was games, computers, or phones, I've always been enamoured by evolving technology.

What tech products or categories are you most passionate about?

The games industry and smart home products are my bread and butter. The best is the cross-section where smart lights can interact with what's being played on the screen.
