This is a rare and refreshing perspective! Nicely explained, too. I have a base model in Matcha, a Paperwhite which was lost and eventually recovered, and a Colorsoft which I bought after I lost the PW. By far, I use the base model the most! It's handy, lightweight, and works for it's intended purpose, a simple e-reader! I now only use the PW at my bedstand. And the Colorsoft? The colors are so "soft" that, for me, they don't outweigh the corresponding loss in screen brightness and text crispness. I'll probably sell it. I think this article is spot on.
