See AllI don't understand why everyone is OK with the Switch 2 missing a basic feature
Valid critique. My counter to this is that my home is filled with USB Type-C cables and that my Switch 2 Dock Set is always just a hop and a skip away. I'm thankful for the inclusion of that secondary top-mounted USB-C port, too.

5 useful things I'll never delete from my trusty USB stick
I appreciate that USB drives are a mainstay in many technical fields, but I'm primarily speaking from the perspective of the modern-day consumer electronics industry. As far as the consumer market goes, USB sticks aren't far behind optical discs and floppies in terms of domestic storage relevance.

Upgrade your iPhone's battery life using this one simple setting
Hi Magpie,
Thank you for your comment and for reaching out!
Roger is absolutely correct in his article -- mobile operating systems like Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android are designed from the get-go with background process management in mind, and it can be counterproductive to swipe away frequently accessed apps from your multitasking screen, as subsequently reopening said apps is often more taxing on the system than simply leaving them in memory (RAM) and letting the system allocate resources on its own accord.
This being said, there are still battery-saving gains to be had by heading into Settings and manually restricting certain apps from running in the background with refresh privileges -- particularly with apps that you don’t frequently utilize or with mobile games, shopping storefronts, and social media services that are known to fetch data in the background at a relatively frequent rate.
In short, I’d recommend continuing the practice of disabling Background App Refresh for your lesser-used and more power-hungry apps, while also avoiding the pitfall of/not falling for the misconception that swiping away frequently-used apps from your app switcher (accessible by swiping up and holding) interface will improve battery life and/or performance.
I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions!
Regards,
John K
