With the New Year approaching, many streaming services are releasing their end-of-year recaps for users. This trend was popularized by Spotify’s annual Wrapped, which has already been released for 2025. Now PlayStation is joining in, and if you've spent a lot of time on your PS4 or PS5 this year, you'll definitely want to check it out.

PlayStation Wrap-up also highlights your top genres, offers a personalized PlayStation Plus playlist of games to try, and shows which DualSense controller you used most -- such as the standard white PS5 controller, Midnight, or other special PlayStation controllers.

Another cool surprise is that if you have a PlayStation Portal or PS VR2, you'll also see a breakdown of the hours you've spent playing it specifically, the number of play sessions, and the total number of games played.

Sony states that its 2025 Wrap-Up experience "will continue to update through the end of the year," so if you check back on December 31, after playing even more games during the holidays, you can get updated stats and your final numbers for the year. Additionally, after viewing your PlayStation Wrap-Up 2025, you can get a free voucher code to redeem for a "unique glass-themed avatar."

How to get your PlayStation 2025 Wrap-Up

If you want to check out your PlayStation 2025 Wrap-up, it's pretty simple; just visit PlayStation's official Wrap-Up website and sign in to your PlayStation account. Then, you'll be able to navigate through it to view all your stats, download a summary to share with friends and family, and at the end, you'll receive a free voucher code that you can use to redeem and unlock the exclusive 2025 Wrap-Up avatar.

However, it's worth noting that your PlayStation Wrap-Up 2025 will only work if you spent at least 10 hours playing games on the PS4 or PS5 in 2025. If you haven't done that yet, you still have time, since, as I mentioned earlier, your Wrap-Up will continue to update until the end of the year, so you have a few weeks left to play some PS4 or PS5 and generate a 2025 Wrap-up.

If you've played more than 10 hours on your PS5 and your Wrap-Up isn't working, it's likely because you haven't consented to "Full Data" collection in the system settings, according to Sony.

PlayStation's 2025 Wrap-Up is available now until January 8, 2025, so you have plenty of time to check it out, see how much you've played this year, and claim your exclusive avatar. If you're a PC gamer, don't feel too left out, as Steam should soon be releasing its own year-end recap called Steam Replay, which is similar to PlayStation's, offering a summary of your gaming hours and favorite titles this year.

PlayStation has had a memorable year, highlighted by major releases like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Ghost of Yotei. Earlier in the year, Sony unexpectedly pushed a new update to the nearly 20-year-old PS3, keeping the classic console alive. More recently, it upgraded the PlayStation Portal with cloud gaming support, turning it into a much more capable handheld.
