No matter whether you are a Verizon Wireless or Home Internet customer, if you subscribe to HBO Max through Verizon's billing portals, you can save some money on every tier of the service starting December 16. Here's a breakdown of the new prices

  • The HBO Max with Ads will now be available for $7.50 per month, $3.50 off the standard price of the plan.
  • HBO Max Premium, which was already discounted for Verizon customers, is dropping from $15 to $12 per month, making it now $11 cheaper than the full subscription price of $23 per month.
  • The HBO Max and Netflix bundle (with ads)will now be $10 per month, $9 off the previous bundle price.

New customers can take advantage of this deal by signing in to either MyPlan or MyHome and selecting the deal beginning next week. Existing customers don’t have to do anything to apply the discount as the new pricing will be applied automatically during their next billing cycle.

Please note that if you are a Verizon customer but subscribe to HBO Max (or a Netflix bundle) either directly or through another managed provider like Roku or Apple TV, you will need to cancel that plan and then re-sign up through the Verizon portal to get the deal (and avoid being charged twice for your subscription.
